DEEBOT T20 OMNI Not Connecting to Wi-Fi

Use this guide when ECOVACS HOME cannot add the T20 OMNI, pairing fails, or the robot never completes the home-network connection.

5–10 min No disassembly Network checks only
QUICK ANSWER

Start with the phone and Wi-Fi network, not the robot hardware.

For the T20 OMNI, ECOVACS says the phone should be on the home Wi-Fi, the network should provide 2.4 GHz or mixed 2.4/5 GHz service, the SSID must be visible, and VPN, proxy or browser-authentication networks are not supported for pairing.

Typical setup failure: the robot is powered on, but the app cannot complete the connection between the T20 OMNI and the home router.
INTERACTIVE DIAGNOSIS

Find what is blocking Wi-Fi setup

STEP 1 OF 3

Is your phone connected to the home Wi-Fi and able to access the internet?

ECOVACS lists this as a preparation step before adding the robot.

FIXES IN ORDER

How to reconnect the T20 OMNI

01

Confirm the phone's home Wi-Fi works

Open a website over Wi-Fi before starting the robot setup so you know the local network itself is online.

1 min
02

Use 2.4 GHz or mixed 2.4/5 GHz

If your router has separate network names, connect the phone to 2.4 GHz and temporarily ignore the separate 5 GHz network.

2 min
03

Make the Wi-Fi name visible

Hidden SSIDs are not supported for T20 OMNI setup, so enable network-name broadcasting during and after pairing.

Router
04

Turn off VPN and proxy features

Pair on a normal home network that does not require a browser page to sign in.

1–2 min
05

Add the robot again in ECOVACS HOME

Scan the QR code on the robot or select the model manually, enter the Wi-Fi password carefully and follow the in-app prompts.

3 min

Do not reset your router security at random

If the T20 OMNI still cannot connect on a normal visible home network, keep a note of the exact app error and contact ECOVACS support rather than disabling firewall or security features without a clear reason.

RELATED PROBLEMS

If Wi-Fi is not the real symptom

01

T20 OMNI Not Charging

Use this if the robot is offline because it is not receiving power at the station.

Power
02

Cannot Return to Station

Use this if app control works but the robot has trouble finding or returning to the OMNI Station.
