Dreame L10s Ultra Not Picking Up Dirt

Use this guide when the L10s Ultra completes a cleaning run but leaves visible crumbs, dust, grit or pet hair behind. Start by checking whether the suction fan is actually moving air, then work through the dust box, filter and brush path.

8–12 min Basic cleaning only Safe checks first
QUICK ANSWER

Check for airflow, then clean the dust box and filter before blaming the fan.

Dreame's official L10s Ultra troubleshooting starts with the air outlet. If airflow is present, the fan is operating; Dreame then recommends cleaning the dust box and filter, increasing suction power in the app and running additional cleaning cycles. If there is no airflow and no fan sound, stop using the robot and contact support.

Typical symptom: navigation looks normal, but visible debris remains after the robot passes over the same area.

STEP 1 OF 3

Can you feel airflow from the robot's air outlet while it is vacuuming?

This is Dreame's first official split between a working fan and a possible suction-system fault.

How to restore pickup performance

01

Empty the dust box

Remove accumulated debris and fine dust so the air path is not restricted.

1 min
02

Clean the filter correctly

Follow Dreame's maintenance instructions. If you rinse the dust box or filter, let them dry completely before reinstalling them.

Dry fully
03

Clear the main brush

Power the robot off, remove the brush guard and main brush, then remove wrapped hair and fibers from the roller and ends.

04

Inspect the visible intake

Remove compacted lint or pet hair from the user-accessible suction opening without pushing debris deeper inside.

05

Increase suction power

Dreame specifically recommends increasing suction in the app when airflow is present but vacuuming performance is poor.

06

Run a controlled test

Use a small amount of dry debris on hard flooring and run the robot over the area. If pickup remains weak after cleaning the air path, document the result for support.

When to stop DIY

If there is no airflow and no fan sound while the robot is vacuuming, Dreame advises stopping use and contacting after-sales support. Do not open the suction fan, motor or battery enclosure.
