Begin with the quick checks. Stop if a step requires tools or experience you do not have.
If your Dreame L10s Ultra leaves streaks after mopping, inspect the result after the floor dries. Temporary wet tracks, dirt smeared across the surface, and a dried film are different observations. Start with the pads and a small test area before changing several settings.
Use only flooring suitable for damp cleaning according to its care instructions. If there is pooling water or a station overflow, stop and investigate that fault rather than treating it as ordinary streaking.
Choose the first check
| Observation | Next check |
|---|---|
| Marks fade when the floor dries | Compare the dry result before changing settings. |
| Brown or gray smears remain | Inspect pad cleanliness and loose dirt. |
| A dried film appears across the area | Review floor-care products and residue. |
| One narrow strip is repeatedly missed or marked | Check both pads for folds and uneven fitting. |
| Pads stay dry or the station does not wash | Investigate water supply or washing separately. |
1. Inspect both mop pads
End the task and switch off before handling the mop assembly. Check both cloths for embedded grit, heavy soiling, folds, loose attachment, or worn fabric. Compare their condition rather than assuming both are equally clean.
Refit pads evenly using the original model’s instructions. If the cloth or backing is damaged, follow the replacement guide. A new pad is a maintenance option for worn fabric, not a guaranteed cure for every streak.

2. Confirm that washing actually completes
The original manual describes washing before mopping and returns for washing based on the frequency selected in the app. Observe that sequence. A robot leaving the station does not by itself establish that the pads were washed successfully.
If washing fails or the pads remain heavily dirty after the cycle, use the mop washing guide. Maintain the tanks using the water tank checklist. Keep the station, tanks, and washboard in place during operation.
3. Remove loose debris before the comparison
For a practical test, vacuum loose grit and dust from a small suitable hard-floor area before mopping it with clean, correctly fitted pads. This reduces one variable: loose dirt being spread by wet fabric.
If vacuum pickup is poor, address it with the pickup guide first. Do not compensate for debris with repeated wet passes without checking the pads between them.
4. Review cleaner use and floor residue
Dreame specifies officially approved cleaner for its station. Do not add household detergent, vinegar, or extra concentrated cleaner as an improvised answer to streaks. Check what was used before the marks first appeared.
Residue from earlier floor-care products is another possibility to investigate, not a diagnosis from appearance alone. Consult the floor manufacturer’s care guidance before attempting to remove a film. Avoid experimental mixtures on an unfamiliar surface.
5. Compare one setting at a time
Record the current moisture and mop-washing settings available in your app. If your version offers moisture adjustment, compare one change on the same small area within the floor’s care limits. Allow it to dry and inspect under similar lighting.
Keep the pads, area, and other settings consistent. If the result improves, you have a useful comparison; if it does not, return to the recorded setting and investigate another cause. There is no universal water setting suitable for every floor.
If pads remain dry despite a mopping task, use the water supply guide. Increasing a setting repeatedly does not repair a supply fault.
When to ask for support
Send photos taken after drying, the floor type, pad condition, products used, app settings, and whether pad washing completed. Include any water-system error. Explain the result of the small clean-pad comparison so support can assess the remaining possibilities.
FAQ
Are wet tracks always a fault?
Assess what remains after drying. Pooling water needs a separate check.
Should I add more detergent?
Follow the approved cleaner instructions. Extra or unsuitable product can complicate the diagnosis.
Will replacing the pads always remove streaks?
No. Check washing, fitting, floor residue, and the controlled comparison too.
