Use this diagnosis when Error 5 persists, including cases where the rollers look clean at first glance.

5–8 min Basic cleaning Power off first
QUICK ANSWER

Remove both rollers — do not inspect only from above.

Roborock’s Error 5 guidance specifically says to check the main brush, both installation slots and both ends of the brush.

What to inspect: remove the roller cover and check the brush ends, bearings and installation slots — not only the visible roller surface.
INTERACTIVE DIAGNOSIS

Find the brush restriction

STEP 1 OF 2

Have you removed both main rollers and cleaned their ends and slots?

Hair can be hidden behind removable ends and around bearings.

Do not force the rollers

If the cleaned rollers remain mechanically restricted or Error 5 immediately returns, stop before opening the internal brush drive.
